Job Profile: Database Developer

We require an experienced developer with in-depth knowledge of building high-performance OLAP cubes and relational databases.
Description
You will join a team developing a large financial web application using Microsoft .NET technologies and provide leadership in all aspects of OLAP and relational development. You may also provide database programming support to other IT projects and aid the management of development infrastructure.Technical Requirements

You are experienced working with Analysis Services 2005
- You have in-depth knowledge of building high-performance writeback enabled cubes and are well versed in MDX specifically related to producing efficient queries
- Ideally you also possess in-depth knowledge of SQL Server 2005 and are an experienced SQL programmer and database designer
- You are skilled at identifying and fixing common performance problems with cubes, databases, and queries
- You are capable of automating repetitive tasks
Experience with any of the following would be beneficial but is not required:

Oracle
- Essbase
- Microsoft .NET
- Data Access technologies
- A programming language such as C# or C++
Qualifications
- You have several years experience developing high-performance OLAP and relational solutions, preferably a part of an application development team

You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- You are a team player but have the ability to self-manage assigned tasks

You are willing to learn new technologies, keep on top of emerging trends in database application development, and have an open mind to considering different approaches to solving technical problems
